Hissterical Amazon reviews of cat nail trimming bags for cats who have way too much spice for normal manicures: 'Trying to fit him into this bag was traumatic for the both us'

Ridiculous problems require solutions that are equally as ridiculous.

The life of a cat owner is more complicated than you would anticipate. Cats are simple creatures, right? They just need to be fed, have their litter boxes cleaned, and be petted every once in a while - if they deem you acceptable, of course. Except that no, it's not that easy at all. And so, we look for solutions. If your cat demands to be fed 15 times a day, we get an automatic feeder. If your cat demands that the litter box be impeccable after each and every time they use it, you might get a self-cleaning litter box. If your cat needs to be bathed because it was too adventurous and climbed up the chimney, you might get a bath bag for your cat - to try to make the experience less dangerous for both of you.

Of couse, all of these things, at the end of the day, are to make your life easier. The cats still hate them. The automatic feeder - they sit next to for hours and sometimes try to eat the feeder. The automatic litterbox might scare them and make them tinkle the other way. The bath bag - self explanatory. And nail trimming bags… same thing, useful for us, hated by the cats, but the reviews of these things on the internet… absolutely hilarious.

Oh, the lengths that they make us go to… You would think that after so many times, our cats would understand the process of nail trimming. They would understand that it doesn't hurt, and that, since they are lazy house cats, they don't need their claws all that much. They never do though. Their claws will forever be of utmost impurrtance to them, and if we want to protect ourselves from their claws when they knead on us, we have to face the demons that they turn into when we attempt to trim them. Our choice. Risk vs. reward and all of that.

Oh, they 100% understand revenge, and they have no problem dishing it out. Even the laziest of housecats will retaliate if it feels wronged in any way. And that might be from you nagging it too much, to its food bowl suddenly being a couple of inches out of place. They will not tolerate mistreatment. And you know… it is actually one of our favorite things about them. The day that our cats stop retaliating against our shenanigans will be a day of sadness - because we will know that something is wrong. Their chaos is one of the things that we live for.
